Florida’s Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program or VPK is a free educational program that prepares 4-year-olds for kindergarten and beyond. Children must live in Florida and be 4 on or before September 1st of the school year they enroll. The amount of the scholarship voucher is set by the state of Florida and covers ½ day or 3 hours of Pre-Kindergarten studies. If your child receives this funding you may choose either a full day or half day (if available) of study. Parents who choose the ½ day program are not required to pay any additional fees. Parents who choose the full day program are responsible for any fees/tuition not covered by the VPK voucher.

Step Up For Students scholarship is offered by the state of Florida to children registered in the KG through 8th grade. The Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options (FES-EO) is a Florida state program that helps families afford private school tuition and fees. All Florida residents in grades K-12 are eligible to apply, regardless of income, with priority processing given to lower- and middle-income families and children in foster care. Scholarship funds are awarded based on the student's grade level and county of residence, and are paid directly to participating private schools on behalf of the family.
